Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Plag Check (“the Service”), operated by DoMyWork (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Plag Check is

Plag Check is a pay-per-use tool that generates an originality and AI-detection report for a document you upload. Each report provides a similarity score, a source breakdown, and an AI-content detection result. The Service is provided on a single-report basis, with no account or subscription required.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your country of residence, to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. How the Service works

You upload a document, provide a delivery email, and pay the per-report fee. We process the document through our detection systems and deliver your report by email, typically within 15 minutes. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

4. Pricing and payment

The price per report is displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through our third-party payment processor. You agree to pay the fee shown for each report. Prices may change from time to time, but any change will not affect a purchase already completed.

5. Your document and content

You retain all ownership of the documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your report. This licence ends as soon as your report is generated.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the document and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Document deletion

Your uploaded document is deleted immediately after your report is generated. We do not store your document, and it is not added to any database or repository. Please see our Privacy Policy for full detail.

7. Third-party processing

To generate your report, your document is transmitted to third-party detection providers, including Turnitin, which carry out the similarity and AI-content analysis. These providers process your document on our behalf for the sole purpose of producing your report. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, partnered with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Turnitin or any other detection provider referred to on the Service.

8. Accuracy and no guarantee

Reports are provided for your information only. Detection technology is not perfect and can produce false positives and false negatives. A score from Plag Check is an indication, not a definitive judgement.

Your own institution may use a different tool, a different configuration, or a different repository, and may therefore produce a different result from the one shown in your Plag Check report. We do not guarantee that your report will match any result produced by your institution or any third party. You should not rely on a Plag Check report as a guarantee of any academic or institutional outcome.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to check work you are entitled to check. You must not use the Service to upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to resell or redistribute reports without our permission.

The Service is intended to help you understand and improve the originality of your own work. It is not intended to facilitate academic misconduct.

10. Refunds

Because each report is a digital product delivered immediately, and because our processing cost is incurred as soon as your document is processed, reports are non-refundable once processing has begun. By purchasing, you request immediate delivery of the report and, where permitted by law, acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel once delivery has started. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be waived.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Plag Check and DoMyWork names, logos, and all related content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our names or logos without our prior written permission.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any academic, disciplinary, professional, or financial outcome arising from your use of, or reliance on, a report. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or withdraw the Service, or refuse or cancel a transaction, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or that the Service is being misused.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and your local rights

We provide the Service to users in many countries. Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Where those laws give you rights that differ from these Terms, your local rights apply, and you may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your home country.
